Residential Care For Adults
Our homes can also provide respite care facilities.
Clients referred to us may have a range of difficulties, including learning disabilities, Autism, pervasive developmental disorders, mental health problems and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties. We can also cater for people with hearing loss/deafness as many of our staff are able to use British Sign Language and Widgit communication.
We have a full list of activites and events that we can access through the year. We aim for our clients to enjoy living in our homes and to make full use of the fantastic facilities here in Somerset.
Our staff have trained to work with clients that display challenging behaviour and we use NAPPI (Non-Abusive Psychological & Physical Intervention) Techniques www.nappiuk.com.
Our staff are subject to CRB checks and reference checks in line with The National Minimum Standards for Care Providers. We are registered to provide care services with CQC. We receive regular inspections in line with regulations and legislation.
