Training
At SWI we believe that well trained staff are the most important resource any organisation can have, so we conduct the majority of our training sessions with our specific clients in mind, we also support our staff to access external training using local services and providers.
Whether it's "mandatory" training required by law or training to enable staff to meet the needs of particular job roles we use knowledgeable and experienced trainers to deliver the best quality training to ensure that staff teams are equipped to meet the needs of people with learning disabilities and other complex care needs across SWI's diverse service provision.
Ultimately we want the people who work for us to be confident, competent, and motivated which is what we feel is required to ensure that staff are receiving positive development for their futures and the growth of our service.
All of our staff have experience of working within a varying care background and this provides a diverse and knowledgable team of individuals that are working together to promote independence and teach our clients the skills that will enable them to make their own decisions and feel that they are positive members of the community.
